We had the most incredible time at this charming guest house! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were living in a magical dream. Pierrette, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The breakfast she prepared was absolutely mind-blowing, with homemade treats like creme caramel and organic bread. The attention to detail in the decoration of the house was jaw-dropping and added to the overall cozy atmosphere. Pierrette was also an amazing guide, giving us insider tips on the best places to visit in the area. We can't thank her enough for her warm welcome and willingness to go the extra mile. The private garage nearby made parking a breeze, and the free wi-fi in public areas was a great added bonus. We also loved being able to enjoy our meals in the lovely outdoor dining area. The flat-screen TV and electric kettle in the room were convenient amenities, and the availability of cots for families with young children was a thoughtful touch. We were also impressed by the fact that pets were allowed, making it a perfect option for pet owners like us. Lastly, the strict no-smoking policy on site ensured a fresh and clean environment. Our stay at this hidden gem was absolutely superb, and we can't wait to return.

During my backpacking trip, I had the pleasure of staying at a cozy B&B in a beautiful and secure area. The location was perfect, situated in an old town with easy access to nearby good restaurants. I stayed in a spacious loft room with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the river. The host was incredibly kind and provided a delicious homemade breakfast made from local organic produce. The attention to detail and the artistic design of the B&B made my stay even more enjoyable.
The town itself lacked attractions and activities, but it was only a short drive to a more bustling city nearby.

The bed and breakfast had a sun terrace where I could pretend to relax while actually checking my emails thanks to the free WiFi. The free daily manager's reception gave me a great excuse to try out all 6 bars on site. Eating at any of the 10 restaurants was a real highlight.
I must say, the rural area was such a disappointment. Who wants to be surrounded by natural beauty and tranquility when there's a city nearby with actual civilization?

The house was beyond my expectations, decorated with a beautiful Moroccan/Algerian touch that made it feel like a real cozy home. The top floor apartment was a real treat, and the terrace overlooking the river was absolutely lovely. The bed was so comfortable that I had the best night's sleep in a long time. And let's not forget the air conditioning, which was a godsend during the hot summer days. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, providing a delicious breakfast every morning and giving us great advice on a scenic route to our next destination.
The town itself didn't offer much in terms of things to do, but luckily it was only a short, ten-minute drive to Carcassonne where we found plenty of activities and attractions.

We had an absolute pleasure staying at this beautiful home. the spacious loft room with a terrace overlooking the River Aude provided a peaceful retreat. the charming owner, Pierrette, made our experience even more delightful with her engaging personality. Her gourmet breakfasts, made with locally sourced ingredients, were exquisite. the home's location in the heart of the Corbiere countryside was perfect for exploring the surrounding hills and experiencing French traditions. it truly felt like a home away from home at Riverside Home Cottage. Cons: Nothing, all aspects of our stay were excellent! 😊.
